Environmental club would be working in the defense of this fragile earth by- exposing environmental damages, taking actions to make positive changes, giving cleaner solutions, spreading awareness and reaching out to give individuals a more selfless outlook towards the environment and the world.We would work and enthuse to make the world's environment a better place to live in. The human civilization is in a junction right now where the onus lies in our hands to make or break the safety of the planet and Kids are the ones who are going to decide the future of the same.We look up to you all to support this club as well as to help the kids of our school to go stronger on the way to grow up in harmony with the environment as a productive and responsible member of the society.

Last academic year we visited SPCA, made a short documentary movie and  raised funds for them through an All school ‘Environment Art Competition and Auction’.
World Food Day-On Friday, 14th October, MIGS commemorated “World Food Day”. The Environment Club explained to the School the significance of the day, which falls on the 16th October, every year. This year the theme is “Food Prices from Crisis to Stability”. One of the reasons for world hunger is the rising food prices.  Our presenters that morning were Aminath, Lucciana and I. Over 1 billion people are chronically hungry in the world today. At our school level, we raised awareness of the wastage of food at meal times and realized how we can make a change, for example, by eating what is on our plate, and by not taking large helpings of food from the buffet spread.
